Dean has made real estate his lifetime career since graduating from Villanova University. He is a full time dedicated real estate professional and his primary focus is Asheville, North Carolina. In addition to being a career REALTOR he is a serious real estate investor. Dean's interests include a need to contribute personally to the real estate industry as evidenced by serving for ten years on the Professional Standards and Grievance committees and as committee chairman for as many as two Boards of Realtors simultaneously. For the past eleven years Dean has been a volunteer death coach and bereavement counselor with HOSPICE and contributes financially to mental health organizations and charities supporting Asheville's homeless population. He has also spent many years on the Board of Directors of the YMCA.
For fun, he just likes being with people, working out, hiking and skiing. He has two children, Katie a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and East Carolina University and is finishing her PHD studies in clinical psychology at The University of Tennessee, and Ryan, a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Foreign studies and Spanish and is an administrative assistant for Congressman Heath Shuler.
